I have found that being "judgmental" can be very helpful. You have to avoid being negative(low value) but you can have a great conversation with a woman by talking about the other women and men. It's obviously not always appropriate but it definitely plays to the gossip side of women and gives you two inside jokes about other people which creates an instant bond. Like if a dude is dancing like a weirdo you can mention "look I was going to do that dance to attract you but this guy already sucked all of the energy out of the room" then have a conversation and tease about it.
